Peung Tanorn Excursion: Meditation & Scenic Tour

Peung Tanorn Excursion: Meditation & Scenic Tour

The Program

You will depart from Navutu Dreams at 7:00am. Peung Tanorn rock formations site is a tw0-hour journey from the bustling city center of Siem Reap, and your ride will take you through the stunning Cambodian countryside, local villages, lush rice paddy fields and a slice of Cambodian life. Upon arriving at the site, you will have an alms giving and experience a monk blessing at a pagoda at the foot of the hill. Expect a light trek up the hill as the sandstone site is about 100m above the ground. After reaching the top of the hill, you will have a guided meditation with our yoga and wellness master. After an hour of meditation, enjoy a simple picnic lunch on the hill and take some time to explore around the sandstone site later on. You will leave the sandstone pillar site around 11:00am to head back to the Resort.

Why Go to Peung Tanorn?

Peung Tanorn is Cambodia’s only recorded sandstone pillar site. Unlike other rock formations sites which are known to be dry and arid, the sandstone site of Peung Tanorn is set in a lush and verdant area – making it unique among its kind. Own your experience and explore around a rarely visited natural wonder in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
