Navutu Dreams recognizes team members every month for their extraordinary service to our guests and co-workers. These team members provide levels of guest service that are truly above and beyond normal expectations. In recognition for their hard work, our team members of the month receive an incentive from the resort, a certificate of recognition and a blog feature. Herewith are our outstanding team members for October.
You will normally catch Ms. Ley Navin at our resort’s Niam Niam Restaurant every morning. Friendly and likable, Ms. Navin is one of our F&B staff who always greets and serves our guests with the sweetest smile. She has been working with the resort since 2013. Most of her colleagues describe her as a very pleasant person who brings joy to the resort. She is always cheerful and happily helps her colleagues every time her help is needed.
Mr. Keo Savath is one of the resort’s kitchen staff. He works as a cook and assists the head chef. He is responsible for preparing the ingredients as well as maintaining the cleanliness in the kitchen. Mr. Savath has been with the resort for about a year. Shy by nature, he is quiet and hardworking. He started his career in the hospitality industry as a kitchen helper at a boutique hotel back then. Since cooking has always been his passion, Mr. Savath took the chance to study culinary at an institute. He says that he draws his inspiration from his family especially his 1 year-old daughter.
Our tuk tuk driver for the month of October is Mr. Vong Vouch. Mr. Vouch has been a tuk tuk driver for about 8 years and has been with the resort for more than a year. He hails from Bakong Commune which is around 25 minutes away from the resort. Before working as a tuk tuk driver, Mr. Vouch worked as a service staff at a restaurant for two years. When asked what made him decide to become a tuk tuk driver, he said that he wanted to learn and practice the English language and dealing with foreign tourists would definitely help him a lot. He enjoys being a tuk tuk driver as he gets to meet new people and gets to share his knowledge about Siem Reap – The Angkor of Cambodia. Polite, friendly, punctual and honest best describe Mr. Vouch according to his colleagues.
