Let Navutu Dreams and Lolei Travel take you to one of the panoramic sunset spots that Angkor has to offer. A Sunset to Remember is a 6 hour tour that encompasses cycling along dirt roads, through small communities and passes long forgotten temples. It is a perfect mix of observing rural activities and venturing off the beaten track, learning the marvels of Khmer civilization. Enjoy a sunset drink or a cocktail while admiring the end of a beautiful day in a very memorable place – A Sunset to Remember.
Meet after lunch your cycling guide and measure up your mountainbike. Cycle to Chau Srei Vibol temple, located about 20km away. The temple is situated atop a small hill next to a monastery that bears the same name. Upon arrival meet with a local monk and follow him around the monastery and get a better insight into Buddhism in Cambodia. After all your questions about Buddhism and monkhood have been answered, climb the small hill to the temple and take in the sights from above. On a clear day Angkor Wat’s towers are visible, rising majestically above the jungle. The next destination lies within plain sight from the hill as well and is named Phnom Bok. After a short cycle of about 10km and a walk of 635 steps up the 221m tall hill a stunning view awaits over the plains below. The Kulen Mountains, the Angkor Archaelogical Park and the Tonle Sap in the distance can be identified. Sunset from Phnom Bok is stunning and guaranteed you will have the place mostly to yourself. Guaranteed, you will be all by yourself! Return to Navutu Dreams Resort, Spa & Wellness Retreat by a private vehicle.
