Navutu Guests Share their Amazing Experience in the Cambodian Countryside

Kieron & Audrey Share their Amazing Cambodian Countryside Experience

At Navutu Dreams, we always want our guests to experience our beautiful Angkor town first-hand, providing them truly authentic and unique experiences. Whether it is nature, adventure, wellness or culture, our Siem Reap hotel resort has so much to offer from a wide range of destination-inspired, wellness activities to authentic, cultural experiences.

Launched in October last year, our Siem Reap community and village tours have become a huge part of ‘The Navutu Experience‘. Guests staying with us are brought to Siem Reap’s unique experiences through Cambodian countryside and village visits, curated and guided by our Guest Experience Team. Two (2) tours are offered daily priced at US$5.00 net per person in  the morning and US$10.00 net per person for the afternoon. The morning village tour (10:30am) features a visit to age-old pagodas and some unique social enterprises within our local area and the afternoon Cambodian countryside tour (4:30pm) that brings guests to Chreav, a beautiful community just 20 minutes from our resort.

We had the chance to capture in photos, a young couple’s journey through the stunning Cambodian countryside. Both hailing from the United Kingdom, Kieron and Audrey are our previous guests who went on Navutu’s afternoon countryside tour. Kieron & Audrey are passionate travelers who have keen interest in local cultures.

When travelling we always try to connect with the local community. The countryside tour enabled us to really embrace the ‘real’ Siem Reap and its friendly people. This is a really unique experience, as you are able to gain an insight into daily life in the farming community.. – Audrey

There to lead the tour was Mab, a member of our Guest Experience Team while our Resort Marketing Manager, Ryatt was there on the go to capture some snaps.

A stunning sundown session with the serene Cambodian countryside as the backdrop.

The Cambodian countryside tour took about 2 hours with lots of opportunities on sightseeing, chatting with the locals, and experiencing the real Siem Reap.

The countryside experience is what made my time in Siem Reap unique. Most people visit Angkor Wat and move on from the city, however I’m so glad I had the opportunity to see a side of Siem Reap that many don’t. I’ve been on many tours, and some can be tedious, however the brilliance of tour guide Mab combined with the serenity of the Cambodian countryside made this an unforgettable experience. – Kieron
